API Access
Build on Laabam Platform using secure API credentials, usage-based billing, and environment separation for development and production workloads.
1. Request Access
Request API activation from your account admin or by contacting our team. Enterprise teams can request scoped keys, private networking options, and project-based usage controls.
2. Generate Credentials
Use separate credentials for each environment and rotate keys periodically.
- Development key: for local testing and sandbox usage.
- Production key: for live workloads and audited environments.
- Optional service key policies: IP restrictions and project scoping.
3. Authentication and Security
- Send API credentials over HTTPS only.
- Never expose production keys in client-side code.
- Store secrets in a secure server environment or key vault.
- Rotate credentials immediately if compromise is suspected.
4. Billing and Rate Controls
API usage is metered and reflected in your billing panel. Configure usage alerts and spend limits to avoid unexpected costs.
